AU Journo Alumni welcomes all & sundry

This is an e-rendezvous for all those who passed out of and served the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Andhra University. The AU Journo Alumni-Hyderabad chapter, formed  in 2009, has witnessed a lively congregation of around 100 MJMC graduates in the city as part of first alumni meet. It's quite pleasing to inform you all that the organization has as many as 120 members working in various eminent media houses (regional and national) including national dailies like The Hindu, The Times of India and The New Indian Express, vernaculars encompassing Eenadu, Sakshi, Andhra Jyothi, Prajasakthi, news channels ranging from CNBC, UTVi, TV9, NTV Telugu, Sakshi TV, HMTV and ETV2 to Vanitha, Local TV,  Gemini news, iNews, ABN Andhra Jyothi, Studio N, TV5 and  Aadhri, etc.
The executive committee formed on the occasion has KV Kurmanath (Assistant Editor of The Hindu-Business Line) as its President and Revathi Pogadadanda (Head, RedFM, HYD) as General Secretary.
This apart, committee members including Padmaja Rao Konisetti (Lead faculty, IndiaCan&NDTV Worldwide's programme in broadcast journalism, HYD), Eswar Saladi (Program Producer, Vanitha TV), Nagesh (Sports Correspondent, Zee 24 Gantalu), Viswanath P (Correspondent, Mint-Hindusthan Times), M Arun Kumar (The  Sunday Indian), Tamanna Mehdi (gold medalist and did her studies on PR specialization in Australia and authorized dealer of Bosch System Specialist (BSS)- United Hardware Corporation since 1992 in Visakhapatnam) and Y Krishna Jyothi (Freelancer-The New Indian Express) among others are playing a key role in coordinating and making the activities of the organization a huge success.
